Each generation of Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) costs 200 credits in Promptus. That's equivalent to $0.20 per image.
What is Nano Banana?
Editor’s note: Nano Banana began as an internal codename but Google has since formally adopted it as an official marketing name alongside the Gemini technical designation, and the current generation is Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image) — see TechCrunch’s coverage of the Nano Banana 2 launch. The description below covers the original Gemini 2.5 Flash Image generation.
Nano Banana is Google’s original codename for Gemini 2.5 Flash Image—a fast, capable image model that does natural-language edits, multi-image fusion, character consistency (keeping the same person/mascot across shots), and world-aware tweaks. Outputs include invisible SynthID watermarking for provenance. It’s excellent for everyday creative work: cleaning up photos, compositing, style-matching, and more.
Why use it on Promptus? Because Promptus is a single web interface where you can generate & edit with Nano Banana, organize results in Collections, publish a gallery, and even expand your visuals into video and music—without juggling extra tools or export
