From April 21–25, Promptus is celebrating AI Week in Dubai with two exciting community events centered on creative AI and visual storytelling.

April 21 – Online Image Generation Competition (University Exclusive) University students across Dubai will compete to create the most visually stunning AI-generated images using Promptus. The winner will receive 10,000 Promptus credits and earn bragging rights as one of the city’s top young AI creatives. Join us for a live help session, from 4:00 - 5:30 PM GST — open to all participants and streamed to both our Discord and YouTube!

April 25 – Midjourney Image-to-Video Challenge A creative showdown exclusively for Midjourney users. Turn your image into a captivating video and push the boundaries of AI storytelling. Full details will be announced soon!

AI Week Image Generation Competition

Join Promptus for an exciting image generation competition during Dubai AI Week! Open to all university students globally, this competition challenges participants to create imaginative AI-generated images blending Dubai landmarks with student culture.

Key Details

  • Date: April 21, 2025
  • Competition Opens: 9:00 AM GST
  • Help Session: 4:00-5:30 PM GST (Live on YouTube and Discord)
  • Submission Deadline: 11:00 PM GST
  • Results Announcement: Within 48 hours via Discord/YouTube

How It Works

  • Register through our submission form
  • Join our help session for a full Promptus demo
  • Receive the official competition prompt category (revealed day-of)
  • Create your AI-generated masterpiece
  • Submit your entry via our digital form before the deadline

Prizes

  • First Place: 10,000 Promptus credits
  • Runner-Up: 5,000 Promptus credits
  • Crowd Favorite: 2,500 Promptus credits

Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated based on:
  • Creativity and originality
  • Humor and engagement
  • Relevance to the theme
  • Technical execution
